Link: Google’s Gemini AI can answer your questions with 3D models and simulations

Google's latest Gemini upgrade introduces the ability to create interactive 3D models and simulations responsive to user inputs. Users can now manipulate these models by rotating, zooming, or adjusting variables like speed through intuitive controls.

I tested this feature by requesting a simulation of the Moon orbiting the Earth, which allowed me to control the orbit speed and visually hide or show its path. A pause button enhances the utility, offering a static view when needed.

This innovation follows enhancements from Anthropic and OpenAI, who have also recently augmented their AI's visualization capabilities. Previously, Gemini's responses were limited to interactive images only.

All Gemini users with access to the "Pro" model can experiment with this feature. By simply asking for visualizations of complex concepts, they can engage with the content more dynamically.

The "Show me the visualization" button under Gemini's answers activates these new interactive experiences. This allows for a hands-on approach to learning and exploring various phenomena.

Continued updates and added functionalities are making AI tools like Gemini essential for educational and professional development, significantly enriching user interaction with digital content. #
