Elon Musk's AI-powered online encyclopedia, Grokipedia, has not been updated since April 24th, according to a report from Lawfare. Despite being touted as a significant advancement over Wikipedia, the platform's content seems stale.

Grokipedia was launched in October 2025 and quickly expanded to over 6 million articles by its version 0.2 update in November of the same year. However, its "Recent changes" section currently shows no live edits.

The lack of updates isn't due to a shortage of suggestions; users have recommended edits across various articles. Lawfare's investigation of 34,519 pages revealed over 225,496 suggested but unaddressed edits.

Concerns are growing among the Grokipedia community, with users on platforms like Reddit and X questioning if the project is now defunct. The community's anxiety is further compounded by Musk's silence on the project since February.

xAI, the company behind Grokipedia, has not issued a response to the mounting inquiries. The stagnation marks a stark contrast to the initial rapid development and promises of a dynamic, user-driven update process.

Such a lack of engagement and updates may threaten the future credibility and reliability of Grokipedia as a knowledge resource. Continuing in this manner could significantly undermine the platform's utility and relevance. #
