Link: DJI’s Osmo Pocket 4 camera is better at capturing slo-mo footage and photos
DJI has unveiled the Osmo Pocket 4, an enhanced version of its handheld vlogger camera, though it won't be available in the US. According to DJI's Daisy Kong, the US launch is delayed while awaiting regulatory approval.
The Osmo Pocket 4 mirrors the hardware of its predecessor but introduces improvements like higher frame rates and integrated storage. It will be available in various bundles, with prices starting at approximately $564.
The camera features a large 1-inch sensor and a new 5D joystick, enhancing functionality and user control. The 2-inch OLED screen rotates for easy viewing and includes extra customizable buttons.
It can record slow-motion 4K videos at up to 240fps and captures still images with a drastically improved resolution. Additionally, it includes 107GB of built-in storage, which is transferable at high speeds.
New film tone and beauty filters have been added, alongside a magnetic fill light accessory. The camera’s tracking capabilities are also advanced with the introduction of ActiveTrack 7.0.
For vloggers, the Osmo Pocket 4 now supports gesture control for tracking and recording, making it highly conducive for solo content creators. Available in Europe and the UK, the camera aims to make professional-grade filming more accessible and convenient. #
