After a Russian attack devastated Kyiv's power grid, Anastasiya Stepula left her freezing apartment in search of warmth.

Stepula, a 37-year-old tech entrepreneur, had spent three days wearing a ski suit indoors due to sub-zero temperatures and power outage.

With temperatures plummeting to minus 19 degrees Celsius at night, she ventured out to recharge her devices and find a heated space.

Close to her home, she came upon a luminous office building.

Surprisingly, it was a hub for software developers, complete with its own generator, workstations, and even sleeping arrangements.

This provided her with not just heat and coffee but also a community of peers, making her ordeal more bearable. #
