Link: Timekettle’s new translation earbuds are made for sharing
Timekettle has launched the W4 AI Interpreter Earbuds, a new real-time translation device priced at $349. These earbuds feature bone conduction technology, enhancing translation accuracy in noisy settings.
The use of bone conduction technology is complemented by a sensor that captures voice vibrations directly through the bones of the head. This feature ensures more precise recognition of spoken words, even amid loud background noise.
The W4 AI Earbuds are equipped with Timekettle's Babel OS 2.0 software, powered by AI LLM models. This system is capable of translating between 42 languages and 95 accents with up to 98 percent accuracy.
Unlike the bulkier, earlier model W4 Pro, the new earbuds sport a modern design akin to typical wireless earbuds but have an extended stem to accommodate extra electronics. This design is intended for everyday use and includes options to create a custom lexicon.
The battery life of the W4 AI supports four hours of continuous translation, or ten hours when utilized with the charging case. As regular wireless earbuds, they can play music for up to eight hours, extending to 18 with the charging case.
The charging case is uniquely designed to split in two, housing an earbud on each side for convenient access and storage. This makes the W4 AI practical not only for translation but also for everyday audio needs. #
