Link: The perfect successor to Lost has been hiding from me for years

Ever since Jack stayed behind in 2010, finding a series like Lost has been a quest filled with mostly disappointment. Shows like Yellowjackets and 1899 seemed promising but faltered or were canceled too soon.

Recently, I discovered From, a show that mirrors Lost's mysterious allure and complexity. Set in a US town where residents can't leave and face nightly threats from monstrous beings, it offers a fresh yet familiar kind of suspense.

The town's inhabitants must collaborate to survive while unraveling the town's mysteries, much like the survivors in Lost. From combines horror elements with bizarre secrets, and just like Lost, the more you watch, the less you're sure of anything.

I nearly missed out on From due to the fragmented nature of streaming platforms. It airs on MGM Plus, a lesser-known service within the Amazon sphere, which made the show easy to overlook at first.

The current state of streaming, where services fight for attention, means great shows can often go unnoticed. Despite my job in the TV industry, even I missed From until recently.

The upside of discovering From later is the ability to binge-watch. For those missing Lost, From provides a great fix, though it means subscribing to yet another streaming service. #
