Link: The new Fi Mini pet tracker has GPS, and it’s barely bigger than an AirTag

Fi, a pet tech company known for its smart dog collars, has unveiled a new GPS tracker called the Fi Mini, designed for small dogs and cats. Weighing only 0.56 ounces, the device is compact and attaches to any collar or harness, enhancing its versatility.

The Fi Mini is priced at $129 per year and offers functionalities similar to Fi’s smart collars, including real-time escape alerts and live tracking. Its small dimensions make it a more practical option compared to competitors like the Tractive Cat Mini tracker.

This device not only tracks location using Verizon’s LTE-M network but also monitors your pet's activity and sleep. Additionally, new features such as AI-powered behavior detection are expected to roll out this fall.

With an IP68 rating, the Fi Mini is dust-tight and water-resistant. Pets wearing the tracker can be tracked continuously for up to three weeks on a single charge, or even longer with the optional Fi base.

The Fi Mini also plans to introduce Apple Watch integration, aligning it with Fi's other advanced products. The tracker is currently available for purchase and shipments will start on September 1st.
