Link: The first three Lego Pokémon sets launch in February and include a $650 diorama
Lego's first Pokémon sets, featuring popular characters like Pikachu and Charizard, are now available for preorder and will ship on February 27th. The sets were first teased in March of last year, with few details released until now.
Among the new releases, there's a detailed Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise diorama. This elaborate set includes over 6,800 pieces and features poseable versions of the three Pokémon set against themed biomes.
The Pikachu set, priced at $199.99, includes 2,050 pieces and features articulated limbs and ears. It also sports a Poké Ball and a special display that cleverly incorporates Pikachu's Pokédex number, 25.
For budget-conscious fans, the Eevee set is the most affordable option at $59.99 and consists of 587 pieces. This smaller set allows for multiple poses without the need for a display stand.
Lego has also introduced two promotional sets: the Kanto Region Badge Collection and a Mini Pokémon Center, available under specific purchase conditions or through their loyalty program.
The extensive range and varying price points cater to both ardent Pokémon enthusiasts and Lego collectors, making it an exciting, albeit potentially expensive, addition to their collections. #
