Link: Plaud updates the NotePin with a button
Plaud has released the NotePin S, an updated version of its compact AI recorder, featuring a simple yet significant new addition: a button. The NotePin S maintains the original's design but simplifies operation with a button for recording and adding highlight markers.
The device is accompanied by the new Plaud Desktop app, which records audio from online meetings on Mac and PC. It detects calls from Zoom, Meet, and Teams, recording both system and microphone audio.
Owners of any Plaud Note or NotePin can access the desktop app for free. This integration ensures a cohesive library of meeting notes and recordings across devices.
The NotePin S is available today, priced at $179, a $20 increase from the original model. Plaud plans to phase out the older version.
NotePin S includes accessories like a lanyard and wristband in its package, improving user convenience. Its button feature was developed in response to user feedback about the difficulty of activating the original model's haptic controls.
With this enhancement, Plaud aims to ease the user experience, potentially increasing its product’s lifespan and user satisfaction. Improving reliability and user interaction, the NotePin S caters to both offline and online auditory recording needs.
