Link: Pixel phones can now stream music for you and a friend at the same time

Pixel phones now support expanded Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast, allowing multiple headphones to connect simultaneously. This feature is available on Pixel 8 and newer models.

You can share a private audio stream by pairing two headphones or using Fast Pair for a broader audience. A QR code can facilitate this sharing process.

This technology is not only confined to Pixel devices but is also compatible with various Sony headphones like the LinkBuds S and WF-1000XM5. Additionally, support extends to some hearing aids and devices from Samsung and Xiaomi.

With the introduction of Adaptive Audio in Pixel Buds Pro 2, users gain both active noise cancellation and environmental awareness. This helps in tuning out distractions while remaining alert to critical sounds.

The new updates include Loud Noise Protection to prevent sudden loud noises from causing hearing damage.

These enhancements aim to improve user experiences in both personal and social listening scenarios, reflecting Google's commitment to audio innovation in its devices. #
