Link: Meta is adding a teleprompter and virtual writing to its Ray-Ban Display glasses

Ray-Ban Display users will soon be able to reply to texts using hand gestures, thanks to Meta's new update. This innovative feature employs the Meta Neural Band, allowing users to text by physically writing on any surface.

The feature was announced at CES and is initially available in WhatsApp and Messenger as an early access option. It eliminates the need for a phone or keyboard while texting.

Additionally, a teleprompter feature is being introduced, enabling users to display notes from their phone on their glasses as customizable text cards. This feature can be navigated using the neural band and is rolling out in phases starting this week.

The Ray-Ban Display is also enhancing its Pedestrian Navigation feature, now supporting walking directions in four new cities: Denver, Las Vegas, Portland, and Salt Lake City. This allows for a more seamless navigation experience directly from the glasses.

This beta navigation feature, however, remains limited to a select number of cities. Users are encouraged to follow related topics and authors to stay updated with the latest enhancements.

Subscribing to topics such as CES, gadgets, Meta, news, tech, and wearable tech will keep users informed on the latest developments and feature rollouts through their daily email digest and personalized homepage feed. #
