Link: Grammarly says its AI agent can predict an A paper
Grammarly is launching new AI agents for various writing challenges, available at no additional cost for users of its Grammarly Free and Pro services. The agents are designed specifically for educators and students, addressing needs such as plagiarism detection and writing improvement.
Jenny Maxwell, Head of Grammarly for Education, emphasized that these tools enhance students' abilities while fostering essential skills for their future careers. The aim is to prepare students for an AI-driven workplace by teaching them how to effectively collaborate with AI technologies.
Among the new tools is an AI grader agent that provides feedback and predicts grades based on the user's uploaded course details and available instructor information. This helps students refine their work before submission, potentially enhancing their academic performance.
Other Grammarly AI agents include a reader reactions predictor, a proofreader for writing suggestions, and a paraphrase tool to adjust writing style. There's also a citation finder that automates the creation of well-formatted references, and an expert review agent for personalized feedback.
For educators, Grammarly has introduced tools to assist in reviewing student papers, including a plagiarism checker and an AI detector that assesses the likelihood of text being AI-generated. These are initially available to Grammarly Pro users.
Grammarly plans to extend these new AI tools to Enterprise and Education users later this year, along with additional updates and expansions. This strategy aims to equip both students and educators with cutting-edge tools for education in the digital age. #
