Customers who purchased FSD can get a discounted trade-in for cars with AI4 hardware or opt for a computer upgrade. This upgrade necessitates replacing the cameras to accommodate Hardware 4.

To facilitate these updates, we are planning to establish microfactories in major cities.

These small factories will operate more efficiently than performing upgrades at service centers, which is slower and less efficient.

Eventually, upgrading all Hardware 3 vehicles to Hardware 4 will be beneficial as it enables them to operate in the robotaxi fleet with unsupervised FSD.

These enhancements are essential for maintaining the viability and functionality of our fleet in the evolving automotive landscape.
