Link: Darth Vader’s lightsaber is up for auction

Darth Vader's lightsaber is going to auction and may sell for between $1 million and $3 million. This iconic prop from "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi" was made from a 1950s British camera flash bulb.

The lightsaber came into Propstore’s possession through an individual who was gifted it during a childhood visit to the Star Wars set. Propstore confirmed its authenticity by comparing it to visible damage seen in the movies.

Apart from the lightsaber, the auction includes other movie memorabilia like Harrison Ford's whip from "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade." The whip is expected to fetch between $250,000 and $500,000.

Additional items include Michael Keaton's Batsuit from "Batman" (1989) and Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man suit, each also valued in the same range as the whip. Other notable items are Wolverine’s claws and a Neuralyzer from "Men in Black."

Collectors can preview all items on Propstore's website. The auction is scheduled to run from September 4th to the 6th.
