Link: Corsair fit a whole Stream Deck into its new gaming keyboard

The Corsair Galleon 100 SD combines a high-end gaming keyboard with a full Stream Deck Plus, marking a significant evolution in keyboard functionality. Announced at CES 2026, it features 12 customizable buttons, a 5-inch screen, and dual rotary dials.

This isn't Elgato's first foray into integrating Stream Deck technology into Corsair products, but the Galleon surpasses previous attempts with its comprehensive integration. The product, available for pre-order at $349.99, officially launches on January 29th.

The Galleon’s real appeal lies in its Stream Deck integration; it boasts a larger, higher-resolution screen compared to existing Stream Decks. Elgato general manager Julian Fest highlights the improved viewing angles and sophisticated control it offers.

Despite being a unified device, the Galleon requires separate software for different functionalities; one side uses Corsair's web tool and the other, Elgato's Stream Deck software. Fest reassures that future firmware updates will enhance interface cohesion.

Stream Deck has grown popular not just among streamers but also among general users for its easy control over applications and devices with programmable buttons. Fest himself demonstrated its versatility, from playing music to adjusting room lighting seamlessly.

The Galleon stands as a pinnacle of user customization, influenced by key industry hires and years of software refinement. It presents a significant stride in merging traditional typing utility with advanced command execution, tailored especially for gamers and tech enthusiasts. #
