Link: Amazon’s Lens Live AI shops for anything you can see

Amazon has unveiled a new shopping feature named Lens Live, allowing users to shop for items by simply pointing their camera at them.

This feature is initially available on the Amazon Shopping app for iOS, where it employs an object detection model to identify items in real-time.

Lens Live compares identified objects to Amazon's extensive product database and presents similar items in a swipeable carousel.

Users can directly add products to their cart or wishlist from this interface, reinforcing Amazon's push towards making shopping omnipresent.

The functionality is enhanced by Amazon's AI assistant, Rufus, which provides product summaries and answers queries.

Amazon plans to expand the availability of Lens Live to more users in the upcoming weeks. #
